Our Services

Established in 2002 by Chris Shaw, Think Funding supports voluntary and community, and not for profit organisations with strategic and business planning and bid writing.

Think Funding is client focused and our approach is always tailored to meet your organisational needs.

Think Funding has supported a wide range of clients from national charities to grassroots organisations, from Earthshot Prize nominees to new start community interest companies. Chris is also the director of three social enterprises, and therefore understands the fundraising and social investment market place from a very practical perspective.

We are not ‘experts’ in your field, rather your collaborative partner developing ideas together. Our approach is ethical, we won’t charge exorbitant fees and we will always agree a joint plan of action with our clients before we move forward.

Our practical experience cuts across a broad range of service sectors including employability and enterprise, children and young people’s services, housing and homelessness, the environment, sports, health and wellbeing, the arts, culture and heritage.

What we do

Think Funding provides support for voluntary and community organisations to help build their capacity and skills, to achieve sustainable revenue streams.

How we do it

Think Funding staff will meet with you and your team to identify your precise needs. We will then pull together a plan of action which we will agree with you for a fixed price. Our work will be underpinned with terms of agreement and clear milestones. We will then carry out the work keeping you fully informed and consulted throughout.
